Port Gamble Development Authority

Home Economic Development Port Gamble Development Authority

In 2011, the Port Gamble Development Authority charter was changed to make Noo-Kayet Development Corporation--the managing board for PGDA. Noo-Kayet's mission is to promote economic development for the Tribe; to separate its business operations from tribal government; and to advance the long-term economic interests of the Tribe. Market studies for future commercial development and economic development efforts are underway.

The Gliding Eagle Marketplace had another strong year with sales up about 27%. The Gliding Eagle Marketplace and PGDA continue to maintain a workforce of over 60% tribal members.
