Community Services Division
The mission statement of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe Children & Family Services Department is to enhance the quality of life of PGST members and their families through a culturally sensitive approach, which encourages living a healthy lifestyle and promotes self-sufficiency.
The Department has two divisions. The Behavioral Health Division and the Community Services Division. Jolene George is the Director of the Behavioral Health Division, supervises the mental health and chemical dependency professionals at the PGST Wellness facility, and also the Together for Children Program. Cheryl Miller supervises the Community Services Division, which consists of the TANF, Family Care Coordinator/Foster Care and IVE, Child Support, Elders and Youth. We all work together as a team to provide services to the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribal Community.
