The vision of Together For Children is to create a system of support for Port Gamble S'Klallam families expecting or raising young children that will allow them to be successful in parenting emotionally and physically vibrant children who will flourish in life!
Is it for me?
PAT is a great resource for those who are:
- Expecting a child
- Parents of children 0-3 (enrolled before 1 year of age) and includes
- grandparents, aunts, uncles, foster parents, and other caregivers
- In need of extra support
- In need of support getting their child ready for school
Helping your child learn and grow is a big job!
It is exhilarating but often hard, too!
Every family could use some support!
We can pair you with a trained home visitor who can come to you wherever you are.
Personal Visits: Your home visitor can come to where you are to discuss your parenting concerns and answer questions.
Group Connections: Fun events, information, and groups with other parents who have small children. A time to learn, make friends and support each other.
Developmental Screening: Checking in during personal visits ensures that any possible challenges related to hearing, vision, or learning are detected and addressed early.
