Volunteering at Head Start provides the opportunity to gain new skills, develop skills you may already have and may be used as job experience. Parents also receive priority in Early Childhood Education Program employment.

Children need to be well rested; 10-12 hours of sleep is recommended for children going to preschool.
Nutritious meals help children be healthy and at their best. Wholesome nutritious foods are important.
Please dress your child for the weather and messy play. We like to go outside and we like to lay in the dirt and paint. Please don't dress your child in nice clothes that you don't want dirty. Staff try but cannot always keep the children clean.
Create opportunities for learning at home.
Please keep your child at home if they are not feeling good.
Please label your child's clothing and keep toys at home, unless it is show and tell day.
Please have your child ready to get on the bus or bring them to school at the appropriate time.
